What to expect when SME installs a Bradford White or Viessmann water heater in the UAE.
How long does a water heater installation take in Dubai?
A like-for-like residential swap typically completes in 2–4 hours; a new villa installation with pipework changes runs 4–8 hours. Commercial projects are scheduled around site availability.
Do I need a permit to install a water heater in the UAE?
Most replacements inside an existing villa or apartment do not require a permit. New commercial or gas installations may require approval from the local authority — SME handles documentation where needed.
Can SME install on the roof, in the attic or inside a cupboard?
Yes — we install rooftop solar, attic-mounted electric tanks, cupboard wall-hung units, and floor-standing commercial systems. Site survey confirms the optimal location for service access and code compliance.
Do you supply and install, or installation only?
Both. SME prefers supply-and-install for warranty continuity, but we will install customer-supplied genuine Bradford White or Viessmann units.
Is the old unit removed and disposed of?
Yes — old unit removal and responsible disposal is included in every replacement quote.
